Special Event for Delaware Valley Tesla Owners Club!

Join us for an outdoor screening of the movie Racing Extinction followed by a virtual Q&A with Leilani Münter. We are excited to be able to bring this exclusive event and unique opportunity to our members and friends.

Racing Extinction is an eco-thriller from Academy Award-winning director Louie Psihoyo that examines mankind's role in mass extinction. The movie draws attention to the hidden world of extinction using covert tactics and a specially outfitted Tesla Model S driven by race car driver and environmentalist Leilani Münter.

The Model S in the movie is outfitted with:

  • a 15,000-lumen video projector that deploys on a robotic arm out of the back of the car
  • a military-grade FLIR thermal imaging camera installed in the frunk that can see CO2
  • has an electro-luminescent skin serving as reverse camouflage to allow the car to be seen when desired, or to go dark into ninja mode…and also pays homage to the billions of animals that communicate in the dark depths of the ocean using only bio-luminescent light

Following the movie, Leilani Münter has graciously agreed to join us virtually so we can ask her questions about all these cool modifications and how they made the movie.
